Shane Tolentino

Shane Tolentino is a Filipino-American illustrator and former NASA intern at Johnson Space Center. They are the author-illustrator of You Are Going (NASA, 2021), a book for young readers about the Artemis missions. With a BFA in Illustration and a minor in Environmental Studies from Columbia College Chicago, they combine these two passions to tell stories about space, the natural world, and human resilience. When they’re not drawing, Shane can be found birding in a forest preserve or knitting at a coffee shop. They live and work in Chicago.
